Second Tour in Iraq

by Matt Cumberledge, 4/30/2009

I am currently my Second tour in Iraq as an Infantryman, and we do a lot of walking around, so having a good pair of boots that are comfortable, durable and reliable is very important. When I was still in the states training up to come over here this time, I found a Pair of Danners at the PX and tried them on and I was instantly in love. The Next day I wore them on a 6 mile road march, and I was more than impressed. Not one blister or hot spot. These boots are now the only boots I wear for dismounted missions, as they keep my feet cool and comfortable.
