Hooked Since 1982
I bought my first Danner boots in 1982, a pair of 8 inch Grouse.
I wore these boots @ The NYS Ranger School in Wanakena, NY. I was hooked immediately, the shape of the boot fits my feet exactly and the lace to the toe design and bob sole provides the stability I require for marking timber in rugged terrain. I have bought many pair of Danners to give to friends and associates to turn them on to the best boots on the market.
I have had many salemen try to direct me to a different manufactuers who produce a lower priced boot, I never falter.
I am happy to be buying an american made product and will continue to do so. My suggestions ,make more models with a bob sole and find a way to prevent cracking of leather in the stress point @ the end of the laces.
